Elaine has lived in the Napa Valley for the past 25 years, two decades of which she spent at St. Helena Hospital, initially as their Director of Marketing. She subsequently served as President/CEO of the St. Helena Hospital Foundation for 18 years. Under her leadership, the Foundation raised $82.5M in philanthropic support, including the largest gift in Adventist Health’s history, an $8M irrevocable trust. A past recipient of the North Bay Business Journal’s 2010 Women in Business Leadership Award in Health Care, Elaine has also been awarded Adventist Health’s 2009 Women of Distinction Award and the 2008 Trailblazer in Philanthropy Award. Outside of the Foundation, Elaine has been active in the community. She is a graduate of the Leadership Napa Valley Program (Class IV), and has served on the board of directors and as past president of the Napa Valley Symphony Association, and is a past Rotarian (St. Helena Club) and Paul Harris Fellow.
