Ellie Anest

“My passion is derived from many sources: love for collaboration, fine wine, food and art and conversation rooted in family and friendships that last a lifetime.” Ellie Anest grew up on farm in Nebraska where her father farmed sugar beets, soybeans and corn. Her mother was a homemaker, gardener and self-taught creative. Her parents’ ability to nurture seeds into valuable crops inspired her interest in cultivating ideas and bringing them to life. When she was 20, Ellie moved to San Diego where she attended San Diego State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and accounting. While there, she became involved with the Greek Community’s philanthropic events, and soon met Carol Vassiliadis. Their deep friendship sustained and led to their partnership in developing the brand Eleven Eleven Wines and Eleven Eleven Winery.

Before founding Eleven Eleven, Ellie built a broad resume working with Fortune 500 companies, mid-size firms and small businesses alike. She began her career with KPMG, providing accounting and finance support for her clients, followed by six years with Taco Bell Corporate on the financial planning and strategy team. She also owned and operated Anest Financial Solutions, where she provided a variety of consulting services. Prior to arriving in Napa, Ellie worked at RGP, a publicly traded professional services firm, where she built a client base focusing on the healthcare industry.

Ellie has been a member of the Philoptochos Organization for over 20 years. Kids n Cancer has been one of the organization within the Philoptochos Organization that she has volunteered. http://www.philoptochos.org is an extension of the Greek Orthodox Church.

Through the course of her career, Ellie’s entrepreneurial spirit has prevailed. She took her years of business experience, combined with her strong value in quality and customer service and formed the partnership venture of Eleven Eleven Winery.

Through the winery, Ellie has been a supporter of the Queen of the Valley Foundation, Festival Napa Valley, Napa Valley Film Festival, and National Ability Center among other non-profit organizations.
